Tuesday, June 23, 2009, just as ADHA finished its House of Delegates and annual session in Washington DC, this article came out in the Washington Post. A few days earlier, Representative Elijah Cummings (D-MD) gave a stirring speech to the dental hygienist-“lobbyists” in complete understanding and support for the concept of keeping oral health included in health care reform.
