Officers 2007-2008

President-Beth Stewart

Beth Stewart graduated Summa cum Laude from Howard College in 1999. During her school years, Beth was very active with SADHA. Upon graduation, she became very active in her local component serving as President of the Permian Basin component for 3 years. In 2004 Beth became active in the State Association quickly climbing the ranks to President-Elect in 2006-2007. She has served several key positions in the state association to include Teller Committee Chair, Ways & Means Chairman, and Governmental Affairs Council Co-Chair. Beth lives in Midland with her husband David of 27 years. Their daughter, Jessica is a senior at Texas A & M.

 

Secretary-Nikki Ulaszek Benjamin

Nikki is originally from Richardson, TX, but prefers the landscape found in and around the Austin/ San Antonio area.  She and her husband are college sweethearts and have been married since July 2004.  They live in San Marcos, TX with their zoo … 3 cats, Chopper, Ester, and Mimi, and 2 dogs, Abby and Jake. 

She completed her BS in Biology at Southwest Texas State University in May 1999.  She is a graduate of UTHSCSA having finished her Certificate of Dental Hygiene in May 2003. She started working towards her Master’s degree at Texas State University – San Marcos in the Fall of 2007. 

Nikki became active in her local component just one month after graduation and has not stopped.  She has served as Secretary of the Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association since 2005.  She also serves as a member on many of TDHA’s Councils and Committees.  In addition, she served as a TDHA Delegate (2003) and Alternate Trustee (2004).   

She enjoys reading most anything that is non-fiction/ history-ish and recently became a knitting fanatic.
