Congratulations, Sandy Tesch, RDH, MSHP

ADHA District IX Trustee

TDHA member and Past-President, Sandy Tesch , has been elected to serve as the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) District IX Trustee. She was elected to a two-year term on the Board of Trustees of ADHA where she will represent the hygienists of the states of Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Sandy is a public health dental hygienist who works for the Texas Department of State Health Services, Oral Health Program, in Austin. She is a member of the Austin Dental Hygienists’ Society and has held many offices in this component, including President from 1997 to 1999. At the national level Sandy has been a member and Chair of the ADHA Council on Public Health and she received the ADHA Discus Dental Distinguished Service Award in 2008. Sandy has one son, Tyler. She enjoys hiking, traveling, volunteering and eating dark chocolate.
